One of Drury's signature compositions, composed in 1989, and originally premiered by Wadada Leo Smith, David Bindman, Bill Lowe, Wes Brown, and Drury, and played by many of Drury's groups since then. It uses a 3 pitch melody and phrasing extrapolated from material Drury imagined Max Roach might have played in a drum solo in the 1950s--a melodic be bop vocabulary.
